You are in for disappointment if you clicked on this post hoping to read about traveling.
I actually wrote this piece on Jan 9, 2018, and decided to turn it into a blog today. Here goes:
It’s been 9 days into the new year and I feel like I haven’t done anything worthwhile. Lately, I’ve been slacking a lot – wasting way too much time watching reruns of old sitcoms, not being able to stay productive most of the week, indulging in unhealthy food and it’s starting to reflect on both my work and personal life.
I decided that something had to change. So like what any other normal adult would do in the month of January, I sat down a couple of days ago to make a list: Things To Achieve This Year. And that’s all there was. I couldn’t think of anything to write on this list and it started to disturb me.
This generated the need to put my life in order. Just instantly, I started typing my thoughts and continued to do so every morning for 10 minutes.
Update Jan 23, 2018:
Writing about this is starting to help in multiple ways. The top of the list would be the fact that because of this, I get to spend some alone time with my thoughts and really reflect on how I’m spending my day, my week, my month. It is starting to feel like some sort of meditation really, where I am able to deeply focus on myself.
I thought others might benefit from this story as well. This is why: The Journey.
The Journey of how I am trying to improve my life and create a more meaningful one. A life of value. This is probably more of a personal blog but I will try and make it helpful for everyone reading.
